About Petite Academy

Hello! My name is Jeeyoon Chung and I am the lead teacher at Petite Academy Kindergarten located in Englewood, NJ. I graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in Bilingual Bicultural Education and I started the first Korean Bilingual Kindergarten in New Jersey’s public school system more than 8 years ago. I have had the pleasure of teaching both bilingual and general kindergarten and I love being a teacher and watching as students thrive academically and socially under my guidance and curriculum. I created this learning center so that my expertise could be available to families from more than one township.

My kindergarten class is taught in a small group setting where students can get the love, attention and support they need to transition into life long learners . We welcome students of all cultural backgrounds and look forward to having new members in our Petite Academy family! With our small class size, space is limited—so early enrollment is encouraged!
